Copying your notebooks from one pc to another This is the interesting part. When Microsoft OneNote is installed on your device it will create a folder called “OneNote Notebooks”. As one might expect this is the place where OneNote stores all your newly created notebooks by default. I've gone so far as to delete (via the onedrive web page as well as locally) all of the notebooks and start again, but of course if I go into onenote and hit open or some other dialog boxes, I'll see the old notebooks and multiple versions of the current one, to confuse things even more. Dear Onenote community, Im really depressed right now. My proffessor in class is working with onenote notes. Import Old Onenote .one Files Into Onenote For Mac Windows 10And he was so kind to upload his files so every student can use them. But he uses an old onenote version so the file is.one. I actually till now found no way to convert the file to use it on my android tablet. Heck I cant even open it on my windows laptop. If i try to open it with onenote on pc it just says old version you may find an converter on the office.com website. There is none. At least I didnt find any. It would be really kind if one of you could help me because i really like the writing feeling of onenote but everything else till now was dissapointing. Taken a look and tried the following: • Tried opening it in OneNote 2016, but it just crashes the app, I think the file itself is complete. • Uploaded to OneDrive to attempt to open it with the OneNote web app, it doesn't even show up as a OneNote file. Search results for amazing-apa-style-paper-for-mac. • Looking at other OneNote workbooks, they don't physically say '.one' at the end of the naming convention, so I'm wondering if this has been renamed, and with.one added at the end in error? I would suggest going back to the Prof, and asking him to email the file to you from where ever it is stored. There might be more than one file to be honest. Failing that, he could email you the content using the 'Share' option from 'File' etc. Lastly you could download a copy of OneNote 2007 or 2010 and try opening it with that. I've looked all over Office.com, but Microsoft don't seem to have a version repository of previous versions which is a shame. Sorry couldn't be more help!
